Dodson Rooms Manager

Michelle has worked with OCmmunity Builders since 2019 as a shelter manager, managing three low-barrier shelters. She brings with her a degree in Mental Health and Addictions. A Support Worker Certificate and has several other relevant certificates. Prior to joining Community Builders, Michelle worked in the downtown Eastside as a front-line worker and has extensive experience working in managerial positions. She is a strong believer in harm reduction and strength-based practices, values dignity, respect and inclusivity. Through her work with Community Builders, she aims to support individuals to achieve their goals through collaborative practice.

I have been living here since 2016. The Metson has provided me with a safe and secure place to live. I have privacy and the freedom to come and go as I please. I also enjoy the meals that are provided when possible. The staff are there if you need any help.
