Outreach Program

Launched with support from Reaching Home and Vancouver Coastal Health, our Outreach Program provides one-on-one, hands-on support to residents across our housing sites, including shelters, respite and supportive housing. This case work-based program helps Community Builders residents identify their housing goals, assess barriers, develop a strategy and take tangible steps toward more independent living.

From submitting housing applications and securing rental subsidies to viewing apartments, gathering references and liaising with landlords, Outreach Workers walk alongside residents through every stage of the process. With so many barriers to affordable market rentals, the journey can be overwhelming. This program takes it one step at a time, assisting our residents on their journey to next-stage housing.
